about
Evgenia Peretz is a journalist, screenwriter, and filmmaker. Her most recent project is Anatomy of Lies, a three-part docuseries on Peacock which she directed, based on her Vanity Fair article “Scene Stealer,” about Grey’s Anatomy writer and serial fabulist Elisabeth Finch. Over the course of her 25 years at Vanity Fair, Evgenia has written more than sixty features on seminal cultural figures, including actors, politicians, writers, and media pundits. Her 2017 article on Nan and Gay Talese, “The Lady and the Scamp,” won a Silurian award, and her work has been featured in three anthologies, including Best American Political Writing. As a screenwriter, she co-wrote the film Juliet, Naked (starring Ethan Hawke and Rose Byrne) and Our Idiot Brother (starring Paul Rudd).
